Solihull Council’s preparations for the town and parish council elections on 4th May 2023 are now underway and they will be running an election briefing for candidates. The briefing will take place on Tuesday 21 February 2023 at 6pm in the Civic Suite, Manor Square, Solihull, B91 3QB. If any candidates are planning to attend, please email matthew.rossi@solihull.gov.uk to confirm attendance. If candidates would prefer to join remotely, please also email matthew.rossi@solihull.gov.uk to receive joining instructions.

Diversion through Hockley Heath will take place between 9pm – 6am.

The Parish Council has been informed by National Highways that the M40/M42 interchange scheme to upgrade the safety barrier will result in slip road and motorway lane closures and diversions through Hockley Heath/A3400. The dates are:

6 to 13 February 2023 – Local diversion (from Henley in Arden): A3400 to M42 J4 southbound.

24 February & 27 February to 5 March 2023 – Local/secondary diversion route: A441, A4023, A435, A4819, A3400, M40 J16, M42 northbound to J3A.
